Photo Uploads

Photo uploads let cleaners submit completion photos after finishing a job. This gives you visual confirmation that the cleaning was done, without requiring an app download or login.

Why use photo uploads?

  • Remote verification – Confirm cleaning quality without visiting
  • No app needed – Cleaners tap a link, snap a photo, done
  • Peace of mind – Know the job was completed before guests arrive
  • Documentation – Keep a record in case of disputes

How it works

You enable photo uploads

Turn on the feature in your Settings. Once enabled, it applies to all properties.

Cleaner receives upload link

In their daily summary, cleaners see a link to upload photos for jobs scheduled that day.

Cleaner taps and uploads

They tap the link, take a photo of the finished space, and submit. No login required.

You're notified and photo appears

You receive an email notification and can view the photo in the job details.

Enabling photo uploads

To enable photo uploads:

  1. 1Go to Settings from the sidebar menu
  2. 2Find the Photo Uploads section
  3. 3Toggle "Enable photo uploads for cleaners" to ON
  4. 4Click Save Changes

Once enabled, the upload link will automatically appear in all cleaner daily summaries.

What cleaners see

Cleaners don't need to do anything special. The upload process is simple:

The cleaner taps the link, which opens a simple web page where they can:

  • β€’ Select which property they're uploading for
  • β€’ Take or select a photo
  • β€’ Add an optional note
  • β€’ Submit

Viewing uploaded photos

Photos appear in the job details view:

  1. 1Go to the Dashboard
  2. 2Click on the job you want to check
  3. 3Scroll to the Completion Photos section
  4. 4Click any photo to view full size

Tip: You'll also receive an email notification when a cleaner uploads a photo, with a link directly to the job.

Upload timing

To prevent confusion, photos can only be uploaded on the day of the scheduled job:

  • Day of job: Upload link is active
  • Before job date: Link shows "No jobs today"
  • After job date: Link shows "No jobs today"

This ensures photos are always relevant to the current day's work.

Photo retention

Automatic cleanup

Photos are automatically deleted after 30 days to save storage space and protect privacy. If you need to keep a photo longer, download it before the retention period ends.

Preventing duplicate uploads

If a cleaner tries to upload another photo for a job that already has one, they'll see a message that a photo was already submitted. Each job can have one completion photo.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is photo upload required for cleaners?

No. Photo uploads are optional for cleaners. The link is provided but they don't have to use it. You can encourage them to submit photos but it's not enforced.

Can cleaners upload multiple photos?

Currently, each job supports one photo upload. If you need multiple photos, consider asking cleaners to send additional photos via their regular communication channel.

What file formats are supported?

Standard image formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC (iPhone photos). Maximum file size is 10MB.

Can I download the photos?

Yes. Click on a photo to view it full size, then right-click to save it to your device.
