When cleaners receive a job notification, they can confirm or decline with a simple reply. No app needed – they respond directly via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.
Super simple for cleaners
Cleaners don't need to remember any complicated steps. For SMS and WhatsApp, they reply with "OK" or "NO" plus the job code. For email, they click a button. That's it.
Response methods by channel
SMS (Text Message)
Cleaners reply to the same number that sent them the job notification.
To Accept:
OK 4521"OK" + job code
To Decline:
NO 4521"NO" + job code
Why job codes?
Job codes ensure the right job is confirmed, especially when a cleaner has multiple jobs. The 4-digit code is included in every notification.
WhatsApp messages include interactive buttons. One tap and they're done.

Understanding job codes
Each job has a unique 4-digit code that identifies it for SMS and WhatsApp text responses.
Where it appears:
- • At the end of every job notification message
- • In the daily summary for each listed job
- • On the job details page in your dashboard

Reply OK 4521 to confirm
Reply NO 4521 to decline

Confirmed
Cleaner accepted. They'll receive a reminder on the day of the job.
Declined
Cleaner can't do this job. If there's a backup cleaner, they'll be notified automatically.
Pending
No response yet. Cleaner hasn't confirmed or declined.
Common issues
"Reply didn't work"
For SMS responses, make sure the cleaner:
- • Replied to the same number (not a new message)
- • Included the job code (OK 4521, not just OK)
- • Used the correct code for the right job
- • Typed the code correctly (no typos)
Email buttons not working
- • Check if the email was moved to spam/junk
- • Try opening in a different browser
- • The link may have expired for very old jobs
WhatsApp button tapped but nothing happened
- • Wait a few seconds; network delay is normal
- • The button may already have been tapped
- • Try replying with text instead ("OK")
What happens after a response
After accepting:
- Cleaner gets a confirmation message
- Job status updates to "Confirmed"
- They'll receive a reminder on job day
- You can see the confirmation in your dashboard
After declining:
- Job status updates to "Declined"
- Backup cleaner is notified (if configured)
- Original cleaner sees confirmation of decline
- You're notified if no backup is available
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a cleaner change their response after confirming?
Yes. If they need to decline after accepting, they can reply "NO" with the job code. The job will be reassigned to the backup cleaner if one exists.
What if a cleaner never responds?
The job stays "Pending." You can manually assign it to another cleaner, or reach out to the original cleaner directly.
Is there a time limit to respond?
No hard deadline, but pending reminders may be sent. Cleaners should respond as soon as possible so you know the job is covered.
